I have decided to begin my celebration of fall. It’s after Labor Day, it counts, right? I got out my fall decorations, turned off the air conditioning and went shopping. Actually, my shopping excursion was just to the local camera store, where I finally was able to purchase my dream, my everything, my wish, my desire that I’ve been plotting and planning for nigh unto three years. An SLR digital camera! So exciting. And, if you’re bored already, please just click here and enter my contest for Republican National Convention giveaway package including a RNC box of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese, a RNC t-shirt, and other cool goodies.
As to the camera, I’m looking forward to gracing blogdom with such important photos as this:
in which you see my beautiful African violets whom I love, because the more you ignore them, the more they bloom.
And this photo:
And this, in which you can see how SuperBoy has to have a different fork for each kind of food on his plate:
And this one, in which you see SuperBoy’s reward for a clean plate:
(it was so cute… yesterday Mr MIP brought home the thing of Oreos. SuperBoy got all excited, “I wanna dip them!” So I gave the kids a glass of milk and their cookies. I turned around a minute later and SuperBoy’s cookies were all gone. I said, “What happened to your cookies?” He says, “I dipped them!” He had taken all three of his cookies and just put them in the milk and let them soak there! Apparently we don’t have Oreos very often!)
“Seriously, Woman?” she says with disdain in her eyes.
Oh, I can’t wait. We’ll have such fun with my new baby Nikon.
