Here are three sites I use for reviews of movies and tv shows. They can be helpful, not only for making sure the things my kids watch are appropriate, but also helpful for us as adults!
Plugged In is a ministry of Focus on the Family. They publish a magazine of the same name, but the website is just as helpful: Plugged In
Common Sense Media is a site I learned about in a tv ad. It covers movies, books, music, video games and tv shows. Common Sense Media
Kids In Mind is the site I use most often – I always check it before showing my kids a movie. I definitely recommend it. As they describe it on their site: It provides parents and other adults with objective and complete information about a film’s content so that they can decide, based on their own value system, whether they should watch a movie with or without their kids. It’s like a food labeling system which tells you what a food item contains. . Kids In Mind
